Best and Worst 1-14

First, let me just start by saying "thank you" for making these posts some of my most popular posts.  They are fun to do and I love the feedback.  So as long as you keep looking, I will keep posting :)

BEST IN SHOW

WOW! This is all I can say about Madonna in this black ensemble.  Yeah, the red gloves are "out there" but she looks FAAAANtastic!

Zoe Saldana is starting to be one of my favorite dressed celebrities (remember that green sequin dress?!?!).  She always looks so put together from head to toe.  I absolutely love this black dress but I love the shoes even more!

Michelle Williams always comes dressed to show and this is no exception.  She has a certain class about her that makes her irresistible.  She has come a long way from Dawson's Creek!

WORST FOR WEAR

I have no idea why I've always thought Jessica Alba had great style. She has not rocked good style at all lately.  This leather dress is so wrong in so many ways.  From the tiered skirt, to the loose fitting mesh top with god awful shoulder and cuff details,  to the nanna length and let's not forget the shoes...wtf?  So bad, so bad!

And talk about shoes...seriously?  These are the fugliest shoes I have ever seen (no exaggeration).   The ankle straps make Naomi Watts look like she has cankles, and the s**t brown contrast soles are awful.   As for the rest of the outfit, I really can't get past the shoes....

Mila (Kunis), Mila, Mila, what have you done here??  This is not you!  How could you possibly think this dress was okay in anyway?  I don't even think I need to say anything.  This is clearly a WORST dressed moment.

Brilliant Ballerinas

Ballerina flats are not just for spring.  These comfy statement shoes can be worn year round and look great with pretty much everything.  I love them with jeans and skirts.  I have several pairs myself and below are a few of my favorites as well as some new prospects I'd like to add to my collection :)   My 3 essential ballerina must haves for right now are 1) black 2) animal 3) metallic.  For spring,  nude tones and bright colors are a MUST.  Also, look for color blocking and ankle strap details for a new fresh spin.

Target Does It Again

Launching February 5, will be Jason Wu's collection at Target.  Jason Wu rose to fame in 2009 when Michelle Obama hand picked his design to wear to the Inaugural Ball.  Look for "French-new wave" pieces that you can mix and match.  Wu's inspiration is his cat Milu who's image in adorned in some of the prints (insert "awe").  The collection will include apparel and accessories with prices ranging from $19.99 - $59.99.  This looks to be a fun playful collection for spring that I will definitely be checking out.

Best and Worst 1-6

BEST IN SHOW

Surprisingly enough (at least to me) this was judged as a "miss" but I love it.  I love the jacket with the bra cup detailing, it's so unique.  Love the black pants, boots and even the stripe scarf.  You are rockin' it Gwen Stefani!
Okay, so she's a teenie bopper, but I still love this look.  I am a white shirt freak and I'm all over this one.  Selena Gomez gets it right from accessories to shoes.
Emma Stone has been on my WORST list twice so I thought I'd give her redemption and put her on the BEST this week.  This dress is a bit quirky but in an awesome way.  I love how the slip, clutch and shoes are in an orange hue but not the exact same color.  Super cute!

WORST FOR WEAR

What? What? What are you doing?  This is flight suit gone bad!  AND I think I'm seeing a hint of CT which is never acceptable.  You have done it,  Mariah Carey, this might have to be the worst of 2011!
This is exactly how NOT to do the color blocking trend.  For color blocking, stick with 2 colors and keep the rest of the outfit neutral.  Paula Abdul should have gone with a black skirt OR a different orange skirt (this one is hideous) with nude shoes.  She's been looking good lately, I just think she tried too hard with this trend.
Olivia Wilde, seriously?

Bangles

And no, I'm not talking about the 80's girl band.  Bangles are a fun way to bring a bit of cool bling to your look.  Instead of just all gold or silver, try adding some color or mixing textures. There are no rules with bangles, no need to match them with anything, just put them on and jingle away.  Below are some bangles that will make your ordinary outfit, extraordinary.
